What is The Mane Event?
The Mane Event is a fun-filled evening held every year. It is an event that has raised much needed funds for O’Hara’s students. Each year volunteers work enthusiastically to make the The Mane Event a success. Over 400 people attended last year’s event.
When and where is The Mane Event?
The Mane Event will he held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Cardinal O’Hara campus.
Where do the The Mane Event items come from?
Local merchants and businesses, benefactors and friends of O’Hara, Alumni and parents of students donate items for The Mane Event.
How does one get invited?
Anyone related to O’Hara in any way is invited (as long as you are 21+). Printed invitations are mailed in March to some groups, like current parent (s) of a student or recent graduate, attendees of this event within the last few years and underwriters and sponsors of the event. Even if you don’t get something in the mail please join us!
If you or someone you know would like to receive an invitation and might not fall under one of the categories, just let us know and we will be sure to add you to our list.
How do donors benefit?
The Mane Event (Cardinal O’Hara) is designated by the IRS as a 501.C3 charity. This means that as a non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Donors are listed in The Mane Event program distributed to all attendees and to all donors who request one.
How can I help?
Volunteer! You are always welcome- there are plenty of areas we need help with. Either email us or give us a call and we will find the perfect job for you!
